The Avengers are Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth or even Mark Ruffalo… It is impossible today to dissociate these actors from their Marvel superheroic incarnations. But Youtube channel What’s the Mashup? was not afraid to imagine other big names in these very popular roles.

In this trailer, Iron Man is now played by Tom Cruise (ironically, the actor had been in the running for the role, which he had refused), Doctor Strange by Keanu Reeves, Black Widow by Milla Jovovich, Captain Marvel by Sarah Michelle Gellar and Captain America by Jean-Claude Van Damme… And that’s not all!
To concoct this trailer like no other, What’s the Mashup? used footage from 90s classics including Troy, Independence Day, Minority Report and Resident Evil. Does the result make you want to see an Avengers film led by these other illustrious actors?
