Marvel quiz: only Ant-Man fans will get 9/9!

Last February, the public could discover in theaters the 3rd part of the adventures of Ant-Man. Tonight, TMC is rebroadcasting the first two films of the saga, which made us want to offer you a quiz on the smallest of Marvel superheroes.

It was in 2015 that we could discover on the big screen, the arrival of a new superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Ant-Man. The eponymous film then came to close phase 2 of the MCU initiated with Iron Man 3. Three years later, the Ant-Man returned in phase 3, this time accompanied by the Wasp, alias Hope Van Dyne interpreted by Evangeline Lilly .

The highly anticipated third opus, Quantumania, which, let’s face it, did not totally convince either the press or the most zealous fans, had the heavy task of initiating the last phase in progress, i.e. the 5th, by introducing us to the one who was to be the new super-villain of the MCU, taking over from Thanos in a way: Kang the Conqueror.

Before embarking on this quiz on the first two episodes of the franchise, a few filming anecdotes.

Did you know ?

A long-standing project

Ant-Man had been in development since the late 1980s. Character designer Stan Lee even approached New Line Entertainment to get the project off the ground, but the studios ruled the story was too close to Honey I Shrunk Themselves. kids (1989). The film therefore had to wait for more than two decades before being reworked.

In the skin of the hero

According to Michael Douglas, Paul Rudd’s costume had to be adjusted because of his muscle mass gain for the first film. The actor undertook very intensive sports training associated with a strict diet to acquire muscles worthy of a superhero. These morphological changes therefore gave costume designers a hard time.

An amazing lab

If the Victorian house housing Hank Pym’s laboratory had been the flagship setting of the first film, it is clear that Shepherd Frankel, the production designer, has once again outdone himself with this new laboratory for the second part, whose construction, on a set of Pinewood Studios of nearly 1,400 square meters, required more than four months of work.

Time for the game, with nine questions returning to the first two films, which you will have the pleasure of being able to see again this evening on TMC.
