Marvel Snap: Update of November 29, the details – Marvel Snap


The players of marvel snap were able to take advantage of a new update, on the evening of November 29. This does not launch the new season, but introduces series 4 and 5, new cards, but also a new currency, the Collector tokens, accessible from level 500 (pool 3). You can use them in a new shop, in order to obtain cards to complete your decks.

Some gameplay changes have been made, including the removal of card boosters from Cache rewards and Collector’s Reserves, replaced by tokens. Some cards have also been balanced, such as Angela, the Destroyer, Mysterio, and Sera, all of which lose one power point. Finally, Nick Fury is now available in Pool 3.

News

  • NEW FEATURE: Collector tokens! You can earn them from Collector Level 500 and then use them in the Token Shop to get missing cards or your dream card. –
  • NEW MAPS: a bunch of new cards have been added to the game! We have introduced two new series: Series 4 (10 cards) and Series 5 (6 cards). You have a chance to get the new cards from Collector’s Caches, Collector’s Stash, and the Token Shop.

General Updates

  • Card Boosters are no longer offered as rewards in Caches and Collector’s Stashes and have been replaced with Collector Tokens!
  • Improved bad luck protection for Caches and Collector’s Reserves. In the future, players with the same collection level will have almost the same number of cards.
  • When you add a variant to your Favorites by pressing the star-shaped button above the card, you have the option to auto-swap that variant to all decks that contain that card.
  • During a match, players can now tap their opponent’s avatar or their own avatar to bring up titles in the avatar context menu.
  • The End Turn button is disabled for a few seconds when your opponent Snaps. Therefore, it should be harder to accidentally accept a Snap.
  • Improved performance for app launch/load times.
  • Added support for “Sign in with Apple” option on PC.

Illustrations and visual effects

  • Infinity edge graphics have been improved. Cards upgraded to Infinity level look much nicer!
  • Flare modifiers gained from Infinity Divide now have a chance to be one of the following colors: red, green, blue, purple, black, white, and gold. Flare modifiers unlocked prior to this update will now change color.
  • Map emojis have been tweaked to make them a bit easier to use and see.
  • Added logos to maps and location power modifiers in-game. (Tap on a map or location to see what modifies it!)

Audio

  • New card sound effects for:

Map improvements

  • Angela [2/1] -> [2/0]
    • Developer Comment: Angela is a widely used card in many decks. We decided to lower its power a bit to make other options more appealing.
  • The destroyer [6/16] -> [6/15]
    • Developer Comment: The Destroyer is making waves! By decreasing its power by 1, opponents will have a better chance of winning the slot where it is played.
  • Mysterio [2/5] -> [2/4]
    • Developer Comment: Mysterio has higher power than other 2 cost cards due to the number of “slots” it takes up on other slots. However, in many cases, these 2/0 illusions end up being beneficial. So we decided to decrease its base power by 1.
  • Will be [5/5] -> [5/4]
    • Developer Comment: Sera is slightly too strong, so we are reducing her power slightly.
  • Onslaught’s ability now activates on top of effects like Mystique or Onslaught’s Citadel rather than activating exponentially.
    • Developer Comment: When you start stacking the effect of Onslaught, which doubles the “Continuous” effects on the slot, things get out of hand very quickly! We want to avoid players waiting for cards like Ironheart to finish playing their animations for too long. That’s why we’re making these changes.
  • Nick Fury was added to Series 3

Bug fixes

  • Fixed French dub mixing
  • Improved translation for many languages
  • Fixed artwork issues on many maps
  • Improved messaging when trying to log in to an older version on another device.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred if you didn’t set a name and the season was started.
  • Fixed an issue that caused some players to get stuck in Recruitment Season after the season started.
  • Fixed an issue where the client could stop working after changing the language.
  • Cards drawn by the White Queen now appear in their place in your hand.
  • Changed Agatha Harkness’s dialogue to now refer to boosters.
  • Daredevil visual effects no longer display on the game results screen.
  • Danger Room visual effects are now always activated when destroying a map.
  • Kraven visual effects no longer activate for you when moving a card if Kraven is on your opponent’s side.
  • Omega Red played on Bar Sinister no longer has repeated visual effects.
  • Purchasing a variant in the daily deals section should no longer make the button invisible on the next refresh.
  • The splash screen artwork should load correctly when the game is launched.
  • Changed the UI Buy Button for Mission Refresh to remove text as it was too small in most languages.
  • Caches and Collector’s Stash icons display correctly after gaining a new card from them.
  • The Collected Rewards UI now displays above Season Caches instead of below.
  • Star-Lord boosters should now be the correct color at game end.
  • The stakes will be doubled correctly if Limbo is transformed to another location on turn 6 and ends the game.
  • Electro’s effect should be properly removed when hit by Enchantress.
  • iOS devices should no longer have a gap at the top of the Season Pass header image.
  • Improved the performance of Morph for its “Revealed” effect (it’s faster).
  • Improved the icons and font of power values ​​on the detailed view of maps and in-game locations so that they no longer appear bold.
  • Previous card visual effects should no longer activate in rapid card succession.
  • Added an effect when tapping the opponent’s avatar.
  • Adjusted button collision on the navbar to overlap less.
  • The Report a Bug popup and the Options popup that didn’t display or react correctly when the player pressed them now work correctly.
  • Time Variance Authority slot now doubles cube count correctly on last turn (i.e. turn 4)
  • Improved communication when you have all of the Infinity Division suits for a card.
  • [PC]Decks scroll correctly in full screen if you have more than 5.
  • [PC]Fixed an issue that caused the game window to reset after opening Options and then switching scenes.

Known issues

  • The message “An error has occurred” may appear for some players when gaining a collection level.
  • Losing network connection and reconnecting during client launch may require a client restart to complete properly.
  • If you have more than 20 card backs, the card backs window does not scroll completely.
  • It’s possible to remove cards out of order while editing the deck, causing a freeze until you restart.
  • The Undo Actions UI may open on top of the Retreat popup, causing a freeze until you restart.
  • The text “Variant” appears on the Season Pass featured card.
  • The effects of Murderworld, Gamma Lab, and Warrior Falls are slow to activate.
  • The Sinister Bar’s special effect does not activate correctly.
  • Agatha Harkness text window UI at end of game not displaying correctly.
  • Some cards have additional textures when upgraded to Superior at the end of the game.
  • Sort and Filter buttons are too high on some iOS devices.
  • You often have to double tap to purchase a variant from the store.
  • After daily deals refresh, variant contents may take too long to load.
  • Sort and Filter UI elements can be open at the same time.
  • When you put a card in your Favorites, you are asked to exchange it in the decks even if you have this variant in all your decks.
  • If no bundles are available, the corresponding icon will always appear at the top of the Shop UI, along with a small empty space.
  • Closing the bundle preview window for individual items may return you to the shop page instead of the bundle preview window.
  • If you are on the store screen when the countdowns for refreshes end, the countdown may go into negative value for a few seconds before refreshing.
  • The touch area for previewing a card in the Token Shop is too small.
  • The buy and cancel buttons are too close together on the buy tokens screen.
  • It can be difficult to press the token shop help button.
  • Some Tokens/Lot UI elements scroll up/down too far when scrolling the store up/down.
  • You may see an incorrect warning for the credit limit when you reach it.
