Not only marvel studios announced the end of the Phase 4 from mcu and immediately unveiled the entire Stage 5 with several new projects, but it’s downright the rest of the Multiverse Saga (new name given to this story arc) which was teased with a Phase 6 who already has enough to return the Internet. Kevin Feige has announced that the latter’s first feature film will be the film The Fantastic Four which will not be directed by Jon Watts. 10 other projects will follow including two new movies avengers whose only titles already say enough about the ambitions of the studio, with first Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and a few months later Avengers: Secret Warswhich will conclude the saga.
This answers questions about the lack of direction following the defeat of Thanos. As we mentioned in a dedicated article following our viewing of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness who came back to his post-credits scenes, the introduction of Incursions in the mcu was not trivial, while kang will visibly pose well as the big bad (Loki is therefore more than ever essential to see), even if we are not immune to surprises.
But what will the rest of the calendar consist of? Well, several projects already mentioned could fill in the boxes if not kept for an inevitable Stage 7 afterwards. Series Armor Wars with war machine indeed always misses the call. The new trilogy Spidermanif done well, could also give birth to a film by the end of 2025. Shang Chi 2 had also been formalized and we know that the Eternals, Doctor Strange and Thor will come back one way or another. Are the X-Menof which the teasing has already started and which will come back in force in animation series, will make their debut in live action in this universe on this occasion or will we have to wait several more years? In short, the field of possibilities is vast.
