Marvel: this incredible cameo that we almost had in Doctor Strange 2
Elizabeth Olsen, interpreter of Wanda Maximoff in “Doctor Strange 2”, recently hinted that Daniel Craig, particularly known for his role as James Bond, had almost made an appearance in the Marvel film.

In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the second adventure of the Marvel wizard played by Benedict Cumberbatch that we were able to discover last May, the master of the mystical arts traveled through the universes and discovered an alternate Earth, as well as a group of vigilantes calling themselves the Illuminati.
These Avengers 2.0 consisted of noticeably different Marvel heroes than we were used to. In their ranks, we found for example Captain Carter (alternative version of Captain America embodied by Hayley Atwell), Professor X (played by Patrick Stewart as in the old X-Men) or Reed Richards, alias Mr Fantastic, camped by John Krasinsky.
However, as we learned recently, the latter could have given way to a completely different character … and to a completely different actor.
Indeed, at the microphone of the podcast Happy, Sad, Confused by Josh Horowitz, actress Elizabeth Olsen, who lends her features to the Scarlet Witch in the Marvel film, hinted that among the Illuminati, a place was initially reserved for Daniel Craig. A rumor that the interpreter of James Bond had also carefully avoided a few months ago.
“Yes, I also thought it was going to happen”Olsen said of a Craig cameo in Doctor Strange 2. “I saw [les concept arts]. They had made a costume. They had the look [du personnage].”
According to the actress, Daniel Craig (accustomed to cameos since he had already slipped into the armor of a stormtrooper for Star Wars episode 7), therefore almost appeared in the cast of the Marvel film. It would also seem that he was to play the so-called Balder the Brave, son of Odin and half-brother of Thor.
Could it be that Daniel Craig will one day end up integrating the MCU in the role of the Norse god? With the multiverse, all scenarios are possible.
