Marvel: when is Echo coming to Disney+?

When will “Echo”, the brand new production from Marvel Studios available on Disney+, which follows the series “Daredevil” and “Hawkeye” be available?

We didn’t have to wait long to discover the brand new Marvel production of 2024. From this Wednesday, January 10, Disney+ is unveiling the Echo series, designed as a spin-off of Hawkeye but also as a more or less direct sequel to the three seasons of Daredevil.

The lead role in the series Echo was given to Native American actress Alaqua Cox. Born deaf and with a leg amputated, this former university athlete is the first performer with a physical disability to land the lead role in a Marvel Studios production.

At his side, the public will find Charlie Cox back in the role of Matt Murdoch after his appearances in Spider-Man No Way Home and She-Hulk, but also Vincent D’Onofrio in the skin of the emblematic Kingpin (the Kingpin in French). Already appearing in Hawkeye, Zahn McClarnon also appears in the credits of the series.

The Echo series will be a Disney+ event for several reasons. First of all, all the episodes will be available this January 10, while the platform generally favors a weekly broadcast for its original productions.

In addition, the series will inaugurate the Marvel Spotlight label. This new classification will allow works that are not part of the continuity of the MCU to be viewed independently of other productions. This label will also make it possible to break with the style of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, particularly in terms of violence shown on screen.

The episodes of the mini-series Echo can be found this Wednesday, January 10 in full and exclusively on Disney+.
