Marvel: Will Adam Driver be the hero of Fantastic 4?

Will Adam Driver play Mr. Fantastic in Marvel’s Fantastic Four reboot?

For several months, rumors announcing Adam Driver in the role of Reed Richards in The Fantastic Four have been circulating on the web. But the last episode of the podcast The Hot Mic by John Rocha and Jeff Sneider reveals that Adam Driver would have been approached by Marvel but would have refused the role very quickly.

Journalist Jeff Sneider says: “It contradicts some things we’ve said in the past, but it’s from someone who works on the Fantastic Four movie. According to him, Adam Driver was never really involved in the project. They sent him the script and he quickly replied that he was not interested..”

For several months the scoopers indeed announce that the actor could embody Mr Fantastic or Doctor Doom for Marvel. According to the latest information, Adam Driver would therefore have been contacted but would have refused quickly. The interpreter of Kylo Ren in Star Wars should therefore not join the MCU.

No actor is yet linked to the reboot dedicated to the Fantastic family, and although the casting rumors are linked, the latter are all false if we believe the director Matt Shakman.

Marvel would like to hire renowned actors but the latter do not seem really interested, like Emma Stone who would have refused the role of Jane Storm for financial reasons. Announced for April 30, 2025, The Fantastic Four is part of Phase VI of the MCU.

Adam Driver will soon star in Michael Mann’s Ferrari and Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis.
