Tonight is Halloween and, as expected, Marvel’s Midnight Suns talked about him with its animated prequel which was announced during the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase in September and which will take the form of five short videos. Only the first is available, called The Salem Sisters and therefore telling us for 7 minutes the events that took place towards the end of the 17th century, in connection with Lilith. Firaxis and 2K Games have therefore chosen their day well to put it online.

We are shown and explained that the witches have faced for years Hiram Shawin Salem then Sorcerer Supreme of the earthwhile Lilith, then human, fell in love and gave birth to a baby. Except that her husband died of an illness, later contracted by her newborn… By wanting to ask for help from Shawshe discovered that he possessed the Darkhold and manages to recover it by sealing the wizard in the company of Sarah. The evil work allowed her to attempt a ritual to save her child, interrupted in class by her friend who managed to stop her. But the damage was already done and Chthon spared the life of the baby who would become the Hunter in exchange for his life, then turning it into the Lilith that we will fight stakes.

In modern times, this whole story has been told to stephen strangeexplaining to him that the Darkhold was entrusted to Jonathan Blaze aka Ghost Rider. It is also Sarah which brought together the entire core team of what would become the Midnight Sunswith reinforcement scarlet witch, Magik, Blade and Nico Minoru. So there are still a lot of questions, which should find their answers in the next videos, which will probably be broadcast every week.

The release date of Marvel’s Midnight Suns is as a reminder set for December 2 on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC, before arriving then on PS4, Xbox One and Switch. You can pre-order your copy on Amazon from €54.99.
