Insomniac Games And Sony Interactive Entertainment will launch at the end of the week Marvel’s Spider-Man 2continuation of the adventures of Peter Parker And Miles Morales. A title exclusive to PlayStation 5 and gold for almost a month, but the developers haven’t stopped working.
Today, a few days before the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Insomniac Games takes the floor and addresses players, especially those who have pre-ordered the physical edition of their game. If the title will be playable from start to finish on Blu-Ray, the developers still invite players to download update 1.001.002 on launch day. This refines certain aspects of the game and adds some accessibility options, even if most will arrive later, as planned. If you have opted for the digital version on the PlayStation Storethe update will obviously be done automatically.
On October 20, you’ll finally be able to experience Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and we couldn’t be more excited. Since going gold, our team has made some notable improvements to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and we’d love for you to experience them from the very beginning.
The disc contains the entire game, and it’s playable from start to finish with no patching or login required. But for the best experience, we strongly encourage players with a physical version with a disc to download the Version 1.001.002 update at launch – before experiencing the game’s introductory mission for the first time.
For players with the digital version – don’t worry, if you pre-download the digital version of the game, you will have 1.001.002 as a pre-download version.
This update refines the final gold version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on disc, improving the game’s introductory sequences and including other elements that enhance your Spider-experience, including additional Accessibility Options.
