Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is currently in motion-capture

If all the Spider-Man fans are impatiently waiting to find Peter and Miles in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you will have to be patient. In the last news, Insomniac Games predicted a 2023 release for its title, without indicating whether that meant the beginning or the end of the year instead. And while we wait until the next public appearance of the title, the actor who will lend his voice to Venom gives a clue to the current course of development.

Venom recording?

Tony Toddwho will therefore take care of embodying the symbiote in this sequel, indicated on Twitter that he was performing motion capture, without specifying on what.

After reviewing the actor’s announced plans, GamesRadar concluded that the only job that Tony Todd would require motion capture at this time would be his role as Venom in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2which would indicate that this sequel must still tackle this exercise. Unless the actor also landed another role in Marvel’s Wolverinewhich must also begin its motion capture phase, as we learned recently.

We imagine that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 should be one of the great absentees of this summer which promises to be rich in announcements, given its release date scheduled for 2023, but we still hope to have more concrete news in the coming weeks.
