The video game Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, available exclusively on PS5, features post-credits scenes. It thus imitates the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Post-credits scenes have become a staple of works centered on superheroes (and not only). The Marvel Cinematic Universe has made it its specialty, and today it is not surprising to note that a video game like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 also offers some. After all, it revolves around a character created by Marvel and its predecessor had already taken the fold in 2018.
Available since October 20, 2023 exclusively on PS5, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 includes two bonus scenes once you have completed the main missions (allow around fifteen hours). They aim to leave exit doors for Insomniac Games if the studio decides to develop its saga. As a reminder, he is currently working on a Wolverine game.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 features two post-credits scenes
Scene 1: a tease for a possible DLC
The first post-credits scene of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 centers on Norman Osborn, who is after both Spider-Mans. He is convinced that they destroyed his son Harry, contaminated by the Venom symbiote (he simply forgot that he was suffering from a degenerative disease). To prepare his revenge, he goes to the imprisoned Doctor Octopus. His visit has only one goal: to discover the identity of the two superheroes. His interlocutor replies that he is writing “ the last chapter “.
This sequence serves as a teaser for what could be a future expansion of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, in which we could face Norman Osborn (as Green Goblin since he wears a green shirt?) and, possibly, Doctor Octopus. Its narrative proximity to the main plot, articulated around Harry/Venom, makes this thesis very likely. But, to date, no DLC has been made official.
Scene 2: a less obvious tease
The second scene concerns Miles Morales. At his mother’s house, he explains to Hailey — his girlfriend — that he wrote an essay about himself. We even witness the exchange of a kiss between the two characters. This moment allows him to be dubbed as Spider-Man and as a main character (since Harry wants to take a step back).
The rest is a little more intriguing: Miles’ mother is having guests. A man knocks on the door. It is Albert and he is accompanied by his daughter, whose face we cannot see. The only clue to his identity? Her first name: Cindy. It could be Cindy Moon, aka Silk, a heroine who was also bitten by a radioactive spider.
Is Insomniac Games planning to develop a video game on Silk? No one knows it, but the first stones have been laid. It could take the form of a less ambitious adventure, like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Unless Cindy Moon replaces Peter Parker in the role of second playable character… Note that a series on Silk is in preparation.
