We already heard about Mary Janes with platform heels in 2022, but this year too the girly shoes are a perennial favorite and are dearly loved by our French neighbors.
Anyone who thinks that bulky shoe models are only for winter will be able to convince themselves of the opposite in this year’s spring season. Platform heels are also cute. The Mary Janes are back and offer us just the right mix of playful details and style-conscious statements.

When it comes to shoes, the French often go for classic and timeless models. The story behind the shoe
Mary Janes became famous in the early 1900s. The name for the shoes comes from the comics “Buster Brown”, in which the two characters Buster Brown and Mary Jane appeared again and again in these shoes. Initially only intended for children, the shoes soon conquered the world’s catwalks.
