At 76, Mary Wilson is tired of waiting. She no longer hopes for a Supremes reunion with Diana Ross.
Mary Wilson (76) is still open to a reunion of the soul group The Supremes. But she won't wait any longer and hope, as she said in an interview with "The Hollywood Reporter". Whether the women who celebrated successes in the sixties and seventies with hits like "You Can't Hurry Love" will ever make music together again "really depends on Diana (Ross)". Wilson strongly doubts "that she wants to do that".
"It doesn't make sense if you don't come together lovingly. Or at least understandingly," explained the soul singer. She finished with the subject and got on with her life. "I see it that way, especially in this pandemic: who knows when the end will come. And at 76 and a half years old, I won't sit around waiting for something. As my mother used to say: You shouldn't cry over spilled milk . I have too much to live for now and to be happy about. "
