Season 3 of Mask Singer fast approaching. TF1 will kick off the 2022 edition on April 1. And unfortunately for the public, this is the last time that Jarry, Kev Adams, Anggun and Alessandra Sublet will be reunited.
The one who is in charge of It’s Canteloup gave an interview to our colleagues from Entertainment TV. The opportunity for her to reveal that season 3 of Mask Singer was the last concerning her. Alessandra Sublet has indeed made the decision not to re-enlist. “From the start of filming, Jarry and I informed the production that it was our last season, so as not to lose freshness and spontaneity. It’s very good to end in style on a third season“, confided the mother of Charlie and Alphonse (9 years old and 7 years old, the fruit of his former union with Clément Miserez). It remains to be seen whether Anggun and Kev Adams will make the same decision as their comrades.
For the time being, Alessandra Sublet does not yet know who the production will turn to to replace her, as well as Jarry who joined France Télévisions last October. What is certain is that the task is not easy: “It’s a real Chinese headache to create a jury, even more that of Mask Singer. There are a lot of settings. You have to find nice people, who get along well and who accept that we don’t care a bit about them because we take a lot of it.“She has only good memories and really made friends with the other investigators.
Who to replace Jarry and Alessandra Sublet?
For his part, Rémi Faure, director of TF1 flow programs, confided in the departure of the 44-year-old comedian during the press conference of Mask Singer 2022. Although Jarry made the decision to leave, he has all the friendship of the team. The first channel has also planned to film and broadcast its show Atypical Jarry on TF1. “It is a figure of TF1. Maybe he will even be under a costume in season 4“, he added. He then gave the ingredients of the perfect investigator: “We had a rather rare chemistry with these four but it’s good to renew some of the investigators. You just have to find the right balance. Mask Singer is a fast-paced show. So you have to find someone energetic, who bursts into life and who manages to keep up with the crazy pace of the show. We are rather looking for a profile close to TV or stand-up than cinema.“
While waiting to find out who will replace Alessandra Sublet and Jarry, viewers will be able to enjoy the new season in just over a week. Once again, the production will unveil costumes as beautiful as each other. We will find a banana, a pig, a chameleon, a deer, a tigress, a tree, a hermit crab, a crocodile, a cosmonaut, a butterfly, a ladybug and a diamond cowboy. And over the episodes, some characters will see their costumes change, like the tree which will represent different seasons. This year, two international stars will be on stage and guest investigators will join the adventure for an evening.
