Eliminated from Mask Singer, Laurent Maistret has lifted the veil on a well-kept secret. The one who was hiding in the knight’s costume revealed how the public was doing to say the least after the shooting.
Viewers could not have expected this revelation! For several seasons, they have fun playing investigators to try to discover the personalities hiding in Mask Singer’s costumes. And for the show to work, the secret must be kept by the participants, the jury… but also the public.. Unless the spectators are not put in the confidence… This is what Laurent Maistret suggested on the antenna of Virgin Radio. This Thursday, September 22, the one who was hiding in the knight’s costume lifted the veil on several secrets of the TF1 show and answered a question from Guillaume Genton: “when you take off your mask and there is the revelation, is there still the public who is there?”
“We play the game, we don’t say anything to anyone. It’s a secret room. We are hidden and broadcast via a camera. But the public does not see”, revealed the former candidate of Koh Lanta. As a reminder, Laurent Maistret was eliminated during the last issue of Mask Singer and was forced to remove his knight mask. After the show, the young man did not fail to confide in being very disappointed by the choice of the investigators, Kev Adams, Vitaa, Chantal Ladesou and Jeff Panacloc, who preferred to keep the Monkey. “I’m disgusted they took me out like clean evil. On a prime where I didn’t even dance. I didn’t even do Michael Jacksonhe regretted with Camille Combal. You have to get me back into the group. Because the next one was Michael Jackson and I told myself that I shouldn’t go out before I did.”
Laurent Maistret: “I would have liked to go a little further”
But despite everything, Laurent Maistret does not regret his participation in Mask Singer. “It’s a bit crazy experience and I wanted to add a little more madness to my CV. And then, it allowed me to get into the skin of a character, to bring it to life, he explained to Gala after his elimination. There was also the singing challenge, which is pretty big. I had people I knew who had done it, like Denitsa Ikonomova, so I thought I’d try it myself. I liked getting into a role. It’s a big challenge and I enjoyed doing it.” Laurent Maistret held during this experience to make the show. I also had messages from people who told me that I was singing well. Dancing, singing… the Koh Lanta adventurer could change careers in the coming months. “I had a lot of fun, even if I would have liked to go a little further, he summarizes. I’m very glad I did.”
