Mass Effect: BioWare celebrates N7 Day with a video of a Mass Relay under construction, teasing the next game

Today is November 7, or N7 Day for fans of the license Mass Effect of BioWare. Last year, the studio shared an illustration in the shape of a Geth with several characters and a ship, in connection with the next episode which is at the beginning of its development, the priority being put on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. This year, it’s slightly less static with a thought-provoking video, the illustration of which had already been shared by Mike Gamble in December 2020.

Indeed, this concept art depicts a Mass Relay in the colors of Cerberusa central structure of the initial trilogy with a crucial role for the Reapers. Well, here we have visibly before us the construction of one of these post Mass Effect 3 cosmodesic relays by a company called Green Dagger Ltd belonging to Deepspace Dhow SAV, which would be the seventh to believe the “MR7”, therefore part of a larger initiative. We have also the mention of a ship that would belong to the fleet commander Soa’Rhal Zhilian-Jonesa name that could therefore belong to a half-human and Quarian. We can also see a ship approaching from the right, but difficult to say more given its size.

Also note the series of numbers “234567” on the structure and what could be a date for this monitoring file: “11_07_90”. The trilogy Shepard going as far back as 2186 CE, we may be looking at a document from the year 2190, long before Andromeda which takes place in 2819. What is certain is that the date is November 7th. Moreover, the video is named “SA_Intercept_SatheriumSystem_Dock314”, giving an indication of where this relay is located. But wait, that’s not all, because fans have resource and have analyzed the soundtrack of the video, in which lyrics are hidden ! It would be the voice of Liara T’Sonisaying:

Exactly. The council will be furious. Although, they should know by now not to underestimate human defiance. It always was their most defining feature. How did we miss this?

Exactly. The board will be furious. Although they now know that human defiance should not be underestimated. This has always been their most defining characteristic. How did we miss this?

By analyzing the metadata of the video, another internet user has for its part found a mention at Liara and to Reapersthe English name of Reapers… Yes, there is much to be lost on and only the most license addicts will make all the connections.

A article complete for the N7 Day has otherwise been posted by BioWarethanking fans and introducing several team members from the upcoming Mass Effect, namely Game Director Mike Gamble, Senior Director of Development Danielle Enns, Senior Narrative Director Mary de Marle, and Creative Director of Licensing Parrish Ley. We learn that pre-production is progressing well, but we will have to wait before knowing more.

In the nearly 15 years since the first Mass Effect was released, the main reason we still love working on it is the warmth, dedication and passion of this community. Some of you have been with us through it all. We grew up together, sacrificed Ashley together. (Or Kaidan, Mike! We all make different choices.) We faced hardships together…and laughed until our faces were tired…together! And for those of you new to Mass Effect (thanks, the Legendary Edition!), welcome! I can promise that many more years of fun, adventures and characters to fall in love with are yet to come.

Regardless of when you joined us, across four games and more expansions, I can say with certainty that we’re in this because of you, and every N7 Day is a wonderful reminder of that. As we look to the future, each week is a fun and exciting challenge for the team. We love bringing this universe to life and while there’s a lot more we want to share with you, that will have to be for another time.

For now, there’s something we want you to watch. We have intercepted strange images from one of the monitoring stations in known space. It may be nothing, but…

Finally, free thematic objects will be offered in The Sims 4 from November 17. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is he available on Amazon at a price of €39.31.
