MASTRAD: MASTRAD ANNOUNCES ITS CONSOLIDATED RESULTS AS OF 30 June 2022 – 04/11/2022 at 17:50

Paris, November 4, 2022–MASTRAD (EURONEXT GROWTH: ALMAS; ISIN: FR0004155687),

innovative brand in kitchen utensils announces its audited consolidated results for the first half of its financial year, ended June 30, 2022.

GROUP CONSOLIDATED

Consolidated group turnover amounted to €6,978 million, down 27% over the financial year compared to the previous financial year.

The results for the past half-year are not in line with expectations due to major supply difficulties in our factories, whether in terms of raw materials (steel, silicone, etc.) or electronic components. Similarly, the strong tensions and higher prices in our supply chain have seriously slowed down and increased the cost of our deliveries. We were nevertheless able to adapt our prices, in order to partially offset the increase in costs, thus limiting the drop in EBITDA.

The Group has reduced its fixed costs and its payroll, thus generating annual savings of approximately €500,000 for the new 2022-2023 financial year, and has closed its two loss-making business units in Hong Kong and Chicago in order to focus on the most most buoyant of our business, namely our wireless temperature control systems, which are enjoying growing success.

The company carried out an issue of bonds convertible into shares in June 2022 for a gross amount of €0.5m.

The group’s cash as of June 30, 2022 amounted to €383k compared to €386k as of June 30, 2021. Logically tense today after a very gloomy year linked to the Ukrainian crisis, the sharp drop in footfall in stores, tensions persistent logistics and the continuation of these difficulties at the start of the new financial year, the cash position must be reconstituted in the short term before returning to profitable growth. Discussions are underway with our financial partners regarding the terms of a financing which should take place at the beginning of 2023 in the form of a capital increase with maintenance of the PSR.

The publication of the accounts will take place on Monday, November 7, 2022.

: in a degraded market for our classic products but a sharp rise for our connected products, we are persevering with our strategic pivoting and our operational and capital restructuring. We will put on the market from the beginning of 2023 two new connected and unique cooking probes on the market. The turnover of our IoT products is up sharply over the current half-year, demonstrating the soundness of our strategy.
