Huawei is releasing the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ a little later than the first two flagship models. These are the differences to the simple Pro model.

- Compared to the already released Mate 60 Pro, the storage variants and the camera on the back change.
- However, release and price are not mentioned. Rumor has it that it will be released on October 9th.
After Chinese Huawei fans have been able to buy the Mate 60 and Mate 60 Pro in the manufacturer’s online shop for some time, another model in the smartphone series, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+, is in the starting blocks.
Even if it is not out yet, there is already a shop page with all the specifications and special features that Huawei would like to use to advertise the smartphone. At the top is the option for satellite communication and the design, which has a clear accent compared to the Pro model.
This is different than the Pro model
While customers can choose one of four colors for the Mate 60 Pro, there are only two colors to choose from for the Pro+. These color options also have two separate areas that appear to be made of different materials. This time, however, they are clearly separated from each other by a clearly distinguishable and curved black stripe, regardless of whether you choose the color “Xuanbai” or black.
The only thing that has changed under the hood is the memory configuration. Instead of 12 gigabytes of RAM, the Mate Pro+ has 16 gigabytes of RAM. When it comes to internal data storage, you can choose between 512 gigabytes and one terabyte. A variant with 256 gigabytes of memory like the Pro model is not offered.

More changes with the front camera. At 48 megapixels, the main sensor of a total of three cameras arranged in a circle with LED flash has a slightly weaker resolution than the Mate 60 Pro with 50 megapixels. But the Pro+ has a much better camera, at least in terms of resolution. This doesn’t just have 12 megapixels. At 40 megapixels it has almost as much as the unchanged 48 megapixel telephoto lens.
Availability and price
Even though there is a lot of information about the new model on the official shop page, Huawei remains silent about the price and release. According to GSMArena, a leek is expected on October 9th. The price is said to be 9,000 yuan (approximately 1,150 euros). The question also arises with this model as to whether Huawei will also sell it outside of China.
