Mathilda May hospitalized: the actress confides in her state of health

Mathilda May asked to be urgently repatriated to France while she was on vacation in Bali. His stay unfortunately turned out badly. The actress announced on July 11 on her Instagram account that she had caught dengue fever. “Here I am stuck in a hospital bed in Bali, devastated by the dengue fever virus. Difficult days, immobilized without being able to eat or drink (and other not very fun symptoms)”, she confided to her subscribers. Dengue fever is a disease transmitted by mosquitoes of the genus Aedes. The disease causes high fever, pain in the joints.

Since this post, Mathilda May had not given any news until July 13 when she posted a new photo of her bedridden in a bed and in her pajamas. We see his legs in the photo and his daughter’s dog. Mathilda May wants to be reassuring this time. “My daughter’s dog Mayo is watching over me. That’s it! I’m on the road to recovery!”writes the actress. “The symptoms disappear one after the other, and if the fatigue remains very present, I can say that I regain a taste for life: I eat! And tomorrow evening return to France”further specifies Mathilda May.

Mathilda May moved by the support received

After three days of suffering, Mathilda May sees the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately, she will not be able to take advantage of her Balinese stay since she returned to France on July 14. A vacation that she had carefully prepared, as Karine Lemarchand pointed out in the comments. “My poor treasure, we can’t wait to see you feeling better. You were waiting for this trip so much…”, writes the presenter to him.

Karine Lemarchand is not the only one to have sent him a message of support. Many strangers and celebrities have sent a thought to the actress. She was very moved to see this flood of messages. She thanked everyone who helped her recover. “I don’t know how to thank each of you for your warm messages… I can tell you that the discovery of these lovely words was a great comfort…” As well as his daughter, who stayed by his side. “THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU thank you my adored daughter Sarah Darmon who ensures of phew”she wrote.

Mathilda May who, in her first post, said she was lucky to be French and to have access to quality care, also took the opportunity to defend in passing the nursing staff who provide their service at a nightmarish pace.
