Matthew McConaughey had a crush on Reese Witherspoon, he now admitted.

Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey raved about Reese Witherspoon when he saw her in her first role.
When he saw the then 14-year-old Reese Witherspoon (45) in her first film “The Man in the Moon” (1991), Matthew McConaughey (52) had happened – at least “a little”, like the Hollywood star on Thursday on the talk show by Ellen DeGeneres (63) admitted. “I had a bit of a crush on the young lady sitting to my left,” he said, gesturing at Witherspoon. “[Reese] was one of my first crushes and anyone who has seen the film will understand it too. You had to fall in love with her, “said the Oscar winner.
Reese Witherspoon could not return the compliment, because she had previously named The Doors singer Jim Morrison (1943-1971) when asked by the presenter who the first celebrity crush was. In the conversation, however, it turned out that it was more likely Val Kilmer (61), who she raved about after seeing him as Morrison in the “The Doors” movie (1991).

Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon were guests on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to promote their new film. The two speak the leading roles Buster Moon and Rosita in the animated film “Sing 2 – The Show of Your Life”. In the German version, which starts in cinemas on January 20, 2022, Bastian Pastewka (49) and Alexandra Maria Lara (43) speak their roles.
