Hollywood star celebrates twelfth wedding anniversary in cowboy look
Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves are considered a dream couple in Hollywood.

Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey congratulated his wife Camila Alves on their twelfth wedding anniversary in a cowboy look.
With his approximately 9.7 million fans, the 54-year-old McConaughey shared a photo of himself wearing a cowboy hat and denim jacket, kissing his wife on the forehead while holding her face in his hands. McConaughey commented on his post with a simple “Thank you” and added the hashtag “#happyanniversary”.
love at first sight
The Hollywood star and the model met in a club in 2006. For McConaughey, it was love at first sight, the actor revealed in 2016 in an interview with “People”.
“Out of the corner of my eye, I saw an aqua-green figure floating through the frame about twenty feet in front of me,” the Oscar winner recalled. He said to himself at the time: “Get your ass out of your chair and get her.” With success, as McConaughey further revealed: “Since [dem Abend, an dem wir uns kennengelernt haben] I didn’t want to spend any more time with another woman, I definitely didn’t want to sleep with anyone else. I didn’t want to have children with anyone else but her.”
McConaughey and wife Camila also successful on a professional level
Two years after they met, the couple welcomed their son Levi (15) in July 2008, and their daughter Vida (14) was born in January 2010. In 2012, the McConaugheys tied the knot in a three-day ceremony in Austin, Texas. Their guests included “Legally Blonde” star Reese Witherspoon (48) and American country singer Kenny Chesney (56). The family’s happiness was completed with the birth of their son Livingston (11) in December 2012.
But Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves are not only a good team in their private lives, but also professionally. Last year, the Hollywood dream couple launched their first own tequila brand, Pantalones.
