Football star Matthias Ginter (26) became a father on January 19. The 26-year-old and his wife Christina announced the news on Instagram. Ginter wrote for a picture on which the hand of the baby can be seen: "19.01.2020 #wiederpapasodersohn". His wife also posted the picture, it also says: "And suddenly the world stopped, because YOU saw the light of day. We are so incredibly proud of you. Matteo. 19.01.2020".
Son Matteo was born earlier than planned. In an RTL interview, the Gladbach star said in December: "The planned date is mid-March." Matthias and Christina Ginter have been married since 2018. It is the first child for both.
