Matthias Reim and Christin Stark will be parents next year. Now the pop singer reveals: “Our baby will be an absolute dream child.”

Christin Stark (32) and Matthias Reim (63) celebrated the “hit boom” with Florian Silbereisen (40) on Saturday evening. And not only that: the couple also announced the singer’s pregnancy. The growing baby bump was hard to miss in Christin Stark’s tight-fitting white dress. In an interview with “Bild am Sonntag” Matthias Reim raves that the baby will be “an absolute dream child”. For a long time, the couple searched the calendar for a suitable time in the tour schedule. “Until we said at some point, it doesn’t matter if it comes, then it will.”

How did he find out about the pregnancy? Christin Stark had “previously shot through 30 stretch marks to be really safe”. The tests were always positive. “Then she put a beer in front of me and said: ‘You’re going to be a dad!’ We celebrated all night afterwards, “says the 63-year-old. For the singer it is already the seventh offspring. He has six children with five different wives.

Secret wedding in corona lockdown

Matthias Reim also reveals details about his secret wedding last year. Because in addition to the baby news, the two Florian Silbereisen also confirmed that they were married. “It was a wonderful spring day,” says Christin Stark of “Bild am Sonntag”. “Matthias asked me in the white decorated garden if I wanted to be his wife, and I asked him if he wanted to be my husband. Of course we both answered ‘yes’.”

A little later the wedding ceremony took place at the registry office. The families did not know about the marriage for a long time: “We didn’t tell our families about the wedding until much later. Everyone was happy with us. I want to stay with Christin for the rest of my life,” emphasizes Reim.
