Is this Belfort speech with the announcement of at least six new EPRs a turning point for Emmanuel Macron?
It’s mostly an affirmation. The Head of State has always been pro-nuclear. But unlike 2017, Macron now fully assumes who he is. Five years ago, he endorsed the objective of 50% nuclear energy in the French energy mix by 2025. But nothing has been done for it. In 2025, we will be – at best – at 75%.
