(CercleFinance.com) – Maurel & Prom (M&P) announces to the market that it is in advanced discussions with the shareholder of Assala Energy Holdings concerning the acquisition of all the shares of this onshore oil company active in Gabon.
This company is present in both production (‘upstream’), transport and storage of crude (‘midstream’), with a quota-share production of around 45,000 barrels per day in 2022.
There can be no assurance that the parties will agree on the final terms of the proposed acquisition, or that it will be completed. M&P will update shareholders on the progress of this potential transaction in due course.
