Limited to 50 copies, the new Honda e offers a limited edition and a publicity stunt with Max Verstappen, reigning F1 world champion.
Honda has revealed a new version of the Honda e for the European market, dubbed the “Limited Edition”. The model is exclusively available in 50 units with a red exterior color, Premium Crystal Red (not available as standard), associated with body fittings all in contrasting black.

In addition to the roof, the front and rear bumpers, the lower part of the bumpers and sills, and the cameras that take the place of the mirrors are painted black. Ditto for the 17-inch alloy wheels.

Based on the top-of-the-line Advance trim, the Honda e Limited Edition is said to offer “the most exclusive Honda e experience yet“. Standard equipment includes heated front seats, heated steering wheel, digital mirror system with side camera, dual screen instrumentation and infotainment that runs across the entire dashboard, power outlet 230 V, Honda Parking Pilot parking assistant, Sky Roof, Honda Sensing with semi-autonomous driving and various driving aids, as well as compatibility with the My Honda+ application.
This Honda e Limited Edition is based on the Advance configuration equipped with a 152 hp engine and 315 Nm of torque, which is powered by a 35.5 kWh battery for a range of 220 km in the WLTP combined cycle.

In addition to its still crisp face, the Honda e Limited Edition is counting on Formula 1 star Max Verstappen to make itself known. The 2021 Formula 1 world champion took the Honda e Limited Edition for a shoot in the streets of Dozza, just before his victory at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix on April 24. He seemed to enjoy the driving experience as he said: “The Honda e Limited Edition is simply charming. It has a funky look, a compact design and is fun to drive. It is an excellent electric urban vehicle.“

As a reminder, this is not the first time that Honda has called on F1 champions to promote its vehicles since in 1992, it was Ayrton Senna who took the wheel of a Honda NSX-R on the Suzuka circuit. , with a camera pointed at the rider’s “legendary” footwork during his circuit lap.
The Honda e Limited Edition is announced at $46,310, but we do not yet know the price and the date of availability in France.
