The film adaptation of the book “Maxton Hall – The World Between Us” has really taken off on Amazon Prime Video in the last three weeks. The hit series even made it to number 1 in the international and German top 10 of the streaming service.
But now the popular drama series has to leave the top of the series charts, at least in Germany. Because the new favorite on Amazon Prime Video is the comedy series “Viktor bringt’s” with Moritz Bleibtreu, which started on May 30th.

“Viktor Brings It” is about an unlikely father-son duo who work together as service technicians in Berlin. Family head Viktor (Moritz Bleibtreu) completes numerous jobs in the city with his son Mika (Enzo Brumm), and the two squabblers quickly get into arguments.
The comedy series seems to have won over Prime viewers with its charm and humor this week and is therefore being streamed a lot. In an interview with the Swiss daily newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ), Moritz Bleibtreu recently spoke about his role as father Viktor and the qualities that make the series special.
“[Ich] I really liked playing this warm father-son relationship, which is not driven by sweat, tears and blood, but by humor and lightness. Despite all the love of nonsense and self-irony, the series still dares to deal with serious issues, to be emotional with the characters and to build a truthfulness that is actually almost out of place in this genre. From the beginning, it was our aim to be as emotional as it is slapstick.”
