Maybrit Illner: Moderator received right-wing extremist threatening letter

Now Maybrit Illner: As the ZDF confirmed, the editor of the moderator's political talk received a far-right threatening letter.

More and more prominent, female personalities from politics and public life are currently receiving right-wing extremist threatening letters from an alleged "NSU 2.0". As initially reported by the "Hessenschau" and ZDF has now also confirmed the news agency spot on news, such a letter was received by the moderator Maybrit Illner (55) in the editorial office of the Political Talk. It suggests a program on "When will Germany be finally abolished?" to hold.

The left-wing politicians Janine Wissler (39), Martina Renner (53) and Anne Helm (34) as well as the cabaret artist Idil Baydar (45) and the "taz" journalist Hengameh Yaghoobifarah (29) are to be invited as guests. The anonymous writer, who suggests that he is a police officer, also accuses Illner of showing his commitment to the "abolition of the shitty Germans, the annihilation of the potato culture and the population exchange". He has already sent several right-wing extremist emails and announces further threatening letters. As a spokesman for the ZDF also announced, the investigative authorities have already been informed.
