Mayor of Kingstown: Season 2 starring Marvel star Jeremy Renner is now available on Paramount+

• Paramount+ is now releasing the second season of “Mayor of Kingstown” in Germany on May 4, 2023.
• A new episode of the crime series is released every week out of a total of 10.
• Jeremy Renner, known as Hawkeye in the Marvel films, stars.

In the USA, Paramount+ launched the second season of the thriller series “Mayor of Kingstown” on January 15, 2023. Since then, a new episode has appeared there every week. US customers were able to see the season finale on March 19th.

In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, May 4th is the starting signal for the second season. In Germany, too, Paramount+ will provide a new episode of the total of 10 episodes every week.

US star Jeremy Renner has to assert himself as mayor

US actor Jeremy Renner became an international star as Hawkeye in the “Avengers” films and with the fourth and fifth parts of the “Mission Impossible” cinema series. In “Mayor of Kingstown,” Renner stars as Mike McLusky, the mayor of Kingstown and the scion of a wealthy family clan that has controlled the city for generations. Racism and corruption have always been part of everyday life in Kingstown.

The violence escalates in “Mayor of Kingstown”

In the second season of “Mayor of Kingstown” comes to a head what was already apparent in the first season. The increasing prison riots threaten to get completely out of control and several fatalities are the result. But violence in Kingstown is also escalating outside the prison walls. There are many shootings, in which innocent people fall victim again and again. Mayor of Kingstown is part of Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone universe.
