(CercleFinance.com) – MBWS (Marie Brizard Wine and Spirit) and Sazerac today announce ‘a new strategic step’ in their partnership in France, involving the exclusive distribution by MBWS of Sazerac’s portfolio of premium brands.
This portfolio includes, among others, iconic names such as the Buffalo Trace bourbon brands, Eagle Rare, WL Weller, Sazerac Rye, 1792, EH Taylor Jr, George T Stagg and Pappy Van Winkle, as well as the Sazerac cognac brand of Forge, the Jung and Wulff rum brand and Peychaud’s cocktail bitters.
The integration of these additional brands with those already in distribution will make it possible to expand MBWS’ presence in high-growth and rapidly expanding segments such as bourbon, rum and the mixology trend.
This partnership, which will begin on January 1, 2024, strengthens a long-standing collaboration between the two groups, as is the case in the United States market.
