(Boursier.com) — The pharmaceutical biotechnology company Medesis Pharma raised an appeal against the judgment rendered by the Commercial Court of Montpellier in the context of the dispute between it and the company Bpifrance, for the purpose of obtaining a reversal of the decision rendered.
Remember that Medesis Pharma had announced, on June 8, the receipt of the judgment of the TC of Montpellier in the legal dispute opposing it to Bpifrance since 2014. All of Bpifrance’s requests had then been deemed admissible and well-founded. Medesis found its claims dismissed, and ordered to pay 1.4 million euros under the 4 financing contracts from 2008 to 2010. “The amounts provisioned in the accounts since 2020 make it possible to cover Bpifrance’s requests” , explained Medesis who also indicated: “Following the receipt of this condemnation which is unacceptable for the company, a reimbursement plan adapted to the reality of the company’s cash flow has just been proposed to the management of BPI France” .
