The Media Server Plex is the victim of a hacker attack. If you use the streaming software, your personal data could now be in the hands of criminals. This is to do.

Hackers strike again. This time the American streaming media service Plex has to believe it. The company is now sending warnings to its customers because the attackers seem to have been able to capture sensitive user data.

Customer information includes usernames, email addresses and passwords. That’s why Plex sends out emails asking them to immediately create a new password and deregister all connected devices. This is reported by the Plex Security Team.

Plex provides you with simple instructions for resetting your password. Fortunately, payment data or credit card information did not fall into the hands of the hackers. We will tell you how to choose a particularly secure password.
