Last night, the Ministry of Solidarity and Health issued a press release on this subject. The government has announced that the High Authority for Health will decide next week on the possibility of an extension of the legal deadline from 7 to 9 weeks. The press release explains: "The Minister of Solidarity and Health has urgently contacted the High Authority for Health in order to issue an opinion on the possibility of extending the timeframe for carrying out induced abortion outside the hospital environment from 7 to 9 weeks. If this decision is eagerly awaited, the government recommends that health professionals encourage the use of abortion by medication and, therefore, carry out remote monitoring, that is to say by teleconsultation: "All consultations necessary for drug abortions can be carried out in the form of teleconsultations, if the woman wishes and the practitioner considers it possible "
