Medicines: Audrey Derveloy takes the helm of Sanofi France


The French laboratory Sanofi has announced the appointment of Audrey Derveloy as president of Sanofi France, from September 1, replacing Olivier Bogillot, appointed general manager of the general medicine branch in the United States.

Audrey Derveloy, doctor of medicine, was until now at the Swiss pharmaceutical giant Novartis. She began her career in the Public Hospitals of Paris. She was then a researcher at the Pasteur Research Center of the University of Hong Kong. Audrey Derveloy then joined Pfizer in France in medical affairs, then Novartis-France, where she was notably responsible for the ophthalmology franchise. Since January 2020, she had been the head of Novartis in Ireland.

Olivier Bogillot had been President France of Sanofi since March 2020, after joining the group in 2015. He had previously worked for the Merck KGaA, Amgen and Bristol-Myers Squibb laboratories, before being appointed Chief of Staff to the Director of the Agency Île-de-France regional health authority in 2009.
