Mega Latios & Latias – Dexerto.com

Pokémon Go Air Adventures is the next upcoming event in the mobile game. During this period, flying Pokémon will appear frequently as well as Mega Latios and Mega Latias in Raids.

Following the arrival of special features only available at Okinawa in Japan, Niantic is expanding its Pokémon Go x Air Adventures event to players around the world. Be careful though, it should only last a week.

In addition to the Mega versions of Latios and Latias which should give a hard time to the most experienced trainers, the Pokémon present in the eggs are modified and Flying Pikachu should make its entrance.

Pokémon Go Air Adventures Event Date and Times

The Pokémon Go Air Adventures event will begin this Tuesday, May 03 at 10 a.m. until Sunday, May 8 at 8 p.m.

Mega Latios and Mega Latias are coming to Pokémon Go

The big addition of this event concerns the simultaneous arrival of Mega Latios and Mega Latias in the game. They will each have exclusive attacks.

If you catch a Latias during the event, it will know the Mistball charged attack. For Latios, this is the Lumi-Shard charged attack.

The following Pokémon will have a higher chance of appearing in the wild throughout the event:

  • Charizard* (rare)
  • Dismantled (rare)
  • Doduo*
  • Magikarp*
  • Baudrive*
  • Tylton*
  • Jigglypuff*
  • Meowth*
  • Psyduck*
  • Goelise*
  • Flying Pikachu*

Pokémon Go Air Adventures Event Raid Bosses

Throughout the event, Mega Latios and Mega Latias will appear in Mega Raids. In parallel, Charizard, Lokhlass and Togekiss will be in 3-star Raids.

It would seem that during this period, no 5-star Raids are available (Mega Latios & Latias being 6 stars). You can find the complete Raid schedule directly from our guide.

Flying Pikachu is available for a short time, don’t miss it!

Air Adventures Event Egg Content

The following Pokémon will be able to hatch from 7km Eggs that you will obtain during the event:

  • Togepi*
  • Babimanta
  • Emolga
  • Sonistrelle

Note that Sonistrelle is one of the rarest Pokémon in Pokémon Go. We therefore recommend that you accumulate a maximum of 7km eggs by the end of the event.

During this event, a unique bonus will be granted to players, but not the least. During these few days of festivities, the distance required to hatch your eggs is halved. Do not hesitate to place your eggs in an incubator now.

You can find the list of Pokémon currently available in eggs.

* Chances of getting a shiny version
