Megan Fox: Actress Reports "Harrowing Experience"

Megan Fox also had "harrowing experiences" in her career. The industry describes them as misogynistic and ruthless.

Clear words from Megan Fox (34). In an Instagram post, the actress takes a full swing against her industry and describes the Hollywood machinery as ruthless and misogynistic, among other things. In her remarks, Fox makes reference to a fan discussion in which her followers criticize that her role in the "Transformers" series in particular would have sexualized her and only had to wash a car as sexy as possible for the successful casting.

This would have been "irrelevant" compared to other events. She doesn't go into detail here, Fox only describes a "long and arduous journey", on which she had to gain "some really harrowing experiences". Regarding the "Transformers" casting, Fox says that although she really had to wash director Michael Bay's (55) private Ferrari, she was at least of age and was not forced to do so. Bay never molested her or tried to exploit her.

However, there are other names that deserve to be publicly denounced. But she will remain silent: "They are locked in the corners of my heart." Despite her silence, she is grateful that there are women who have been violated by the "violent and poisoned paradigm" and speak openly about it.

Old interview sparked debate

The stumbling block of the whole discussion is an interview by Megan Fox in 2009 on the talk show by Jimmy Kimmel (52), which is now appearing in a new light. At that time she told of an anecdote on the set of "Bad Boys 2", also with Michael Bay as director. According to the script, she should have been sitting at a bar, but this would have been prohibited by law – even in a film – because she was only 15 years old at the time.

Bay quickly had a solution: he simply let her dance in a bikini under a waterfall. "It describes well how Michael Bay's head works," Fox said at the time. Later Fox and Bay overtook each other, who no longer cast them for the female lead in "Transformers 3" in 2011. In an interview, she compared him with Hitler and Napoleon. He was a "crazy, crazy guy" and it was a nightmare to work with him.
