Megan Fox has become a poet: her first volume of poetry is due to appear in November. It’s about men.
Model and actress Megan Fox (37) will publish a book of poetry. The book, titled Pretty Boys are Poisonous, is slated for release in November.
“I wrote a book”
On her Instagram page she proudly announced on Tuesday (8 August): “I’ve written a book.” Her friend Machine Gun Kelly (33) commented on the post and said he was proud of her. Fox announced that the book is available for pre-order now and will be in stores on November 7th. At the same time, the audio book, which she reads herself, is to be published.
According to the publisher’s official synopsis Simon and Schuster In her book debut, the mother of three “shows the fans her evil humor through a heartbreaking and dark collection of poems”. In more than 70 poems, Fox charts all of the ways “we fit into the mold of those we love, even if it means losing ourselves in the process.”
About mysteries and sins
She herself explained, according to a statement from the publisher: “These poems were written to eliminate the disease that had taken hold of me because of my silence. I’ve spent my whole life keeping the secrets of men and my body aches from it the burden of their sins.” Now live their freedom on these pages. She hopes “that my words can inspire others to reclaim their happiness and identity by using her voice to illuminate what is buried in darkness but not forgotten”.
Megan Fox became known in 2007 for her role in “Transformers”. She also made a lot of headlines with her relationships. From 2010 to 2021 she was married to “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Brian Austin Green (50), with whom she has three sons. In 2020, she made her love for Machine Gun Kelly public.
