Burglars allegedly stole hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from Megan Thee Stallion while she was away.
Unknown thieves are said to have broken into rapper Megan Thee Stallion (27). As the celebrity portal “TMZ” reportstwo men smashed the back door of their Los Angeles home Thursday night, gaining access to the Grammy Award-winner’s bedroom.
The burglars allegedly stole $300,000 to $400,000 worth of jewelry, cash and electronics, the celebrity website reports, citing anonymous law enforcement sources. The police are now trying to track down the perpetrators via surveillance videos of the property and the surrounding area. So far there have been no arrests.
“Material things can be replaced”
The rapper was therefore not at home at the time of the crime. She is preparing to guest host the late night show “Saturday Night Live” in New York. On Twitter, Megan Thee Stallion appears the incident to confirm with a short tweet: “Material things can be replaced, but I’m glad everyone is fine.”
