Meghan and Harry eco-friendly, but not too much! This new controversy over their questionable practices

Back home in California after their brief stint in England to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently the subject of controversy across the Atlantic.

Under fire from critics in the UK since making the controversial decision to leave the british royal family, to settle in California with their children, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently at the heart of a new controversy across the Atlantic. The latter was initiated by an American writer by the name of Robert Eringer. In fact, the latter pointed the finger at the behavior of the couple, contrary to its commitments in terms of ecology, in an article published in the local newspaper of Santa Barbara, where is the residence of prince harry and Meghan Markle.

Robert Eringer notably criticizes the couple for used a private jet for the purpose of returning from the UK to California and back at the beginning of June 2022, in order to be able to attend the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. For the record, the two former members of the British royal family have been regularly claiming their eco-responsible daily life for several years now, as well as their desire to preserve the environment. In the words of Robert Eringer, this environmental commitment would come up against the desire to “personal comfort” of the couple. That’s why the writer called Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hypocrites in his article.

Meghan and Harry: their presence in England for the Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II did not go unnoticed

Just last year, Harry said: Climate change and mental health are two of the most pressing issues facing us today, and in many ways they are linked‘”, also recalled the writer in his column. As a reminder, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were also heavily criticized during their visit to Great Britain for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. Many observers have made no secret of their displeasure with the couple’s attendance at Buckingham Palace during this event, which was intended to celebrate the 70 years of reign of the British monarch on the throne of England.
