Melania Trump: First Lady picks up Christmas tree for the White House

US First Lady Melania Trump received the Christmas tree for the White House, a fir tree from West Virginia, for the last time.

US First Lady Melania Trump (50) received the Christmas tree for the White House for the last time on Monday. For the occasion, she appeared elegant and yet warmly wrapped in a black and white checked coat, with black gloves and black over-the-knee boots. She and her husband (since 2005) Donald Trump (74) have hardly appeared in public since the US elections on November 3rd.

Grown on a West Virginia farm, the tree will be on display in the White House's Blue Room and will eventually be decorated as one of the final acts of office by the first lady before she and President Donald Trump leave office and the White House on January 20.
