The daughter of the former dream couple Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas is apparently planning a name change. That’s what she wants to be called now …
Stella Banderas Griffith (25), daughter of Melanie Griffith (64) and Antonio Banderas (61), allegedly wants to delete part of her name. The 25-year-old, who works as a model, actress and entrepreneur, is said to have filed an application for a name change in Los Angeles. The reported “The Blast” citing Court records. Accordingly, the celebrity daughter no longer wants to be called “Griffith”.
Her official name so far is Stella del Carmen Banderas Griffith. In the application, she writes, according to “The Blast”, “to want to shorten my name by removing the additional surname”. She also stated that she usually doesn’t use “Griffith” when giving her name. According to the report, family disputes should not be the reason.

Stella was born in Spain. She was kept away from the limelight by her parents. Griffith and Banderas married in 1996. The couple separated in 2014, but remained on friendly terms. In addition to Stella, Melanie Griffith has a son with Steven Bauer (64), Alexander Bauer (36). And daughter Dakota Johnson (31, “Fifty Shades of Gray”), whose father is Don Johnson (71).
The daughter of Griffith and Banderas made her acting debut in 1999 in the film “Crazy in Alabama”. Her father directed, her mother starred.
