In a river interview with Paris Match, Mélanie Thierry confided in her relationship with Raphaël, with whom she is celebrating 20 years of love this year.
She is back at the cinema with The Real Family, a film by Fabien Gorgeart, in which she plays a mother who is entrusted with an 18-month-old child by a social worker. For ten years, Mélanie Thierry has continued to play poignant roles, often tinged with passion and fragility. From The Princess of Montpensier to In therapy, passing by For a woman, the actress with a great repertoire strikes a blow once again, until having left her companion “on the ass” as he himself says on Instagram. “Melanie is heartbreaking in this role! Leaving the screening, you say to yourself that you have just witnessed something unique, of an intensity, of a power that can only exist in the cinema for an hour and a half, something that still irradiates you long after as if your pockets were full of fucking plutonium! Finally you may have understood, I really like this actress who never ceases to impress me“, let go of the singer. A beautiful statement to the one who has shared his life for 20 years and with whom happiness seems to continue. “With Raphaelwe found each other well“, explains Mélanie Thierry in the columns of Paris Match. “We grew up together and I think we get along well. Without pretension, I find that, frankly, it is admirable everything that we have managed to carry out together so far“.

Who says old couple necessarily says habits, and the two lovebirds have probably taken that of reading the same book simultaneously. “It must be said that he reads much faster than me who is super slow. When he gets to page 400 and he’s about to start another book, I’m still on page 70. But the difference is that I sleep at night, whereas he, few hours enough sleep“, she confides before concluding: “I need to have admiration for the people I love. I look up to my boyfriend and my kids.”
