For many seasons, Epic Games has offered its community challenges, which are more or less easily achievable, in order to recover XP. This experience is used to gain levels during the season Fortnite in progress and unlock Battle Stars to claim Battle Pass skins and cosmetics. Occasionally, these challenges require dealing damage with a melee weapon.
Melee weapons in Fortnite
Whether it’s for weekly challenges, daily challenges or any other quest, know that this request is relatively simple. Often you will be asked to deal damage with a melee weapon to an adversary or, if the occasion arises, to wild boars or wolves (wildlife). In other circumstances, the damage with the melee weapons must be done a few seconds after landing which slightly complicates the task. As a result, a multitude of players today wonder what a melee weapon in Fortnite.
The melee weapons are basically all melee weapons that aren’t firearms. As a result, bladed weapons such as knives or even baseball bats or tools are melee weapons. In Fortniteunfortunately none of this is available, the only weapon that is not a firearm is the deck. That’s good, it’s also a melee weapon.
You will therefore have to deal damage to other players, or animals, with your pickaxe. Two solutions are available to you. You can go straight there with your pickaxe and heal yourself when needed, or if you’re playing in a group, hit an opponent on the ground with your melee weapon. You are free to choose the solution of your choice. Over time, the data collection tool Fortnite took on various guises, but whether you’re using a lightsaber, pickaxe, chainsaw, or whatever, you’ll have in your hands a melee weapon.
