Melissa Benoist: "Supergirl" star is happy with first child

"Supergirl" stars Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood became parents for the first time. On Instagram, they rave about their little boy.

Actress Melissa Benoist (31) is happy to have her first child. As she announced on Instagram, she and her husband Chris Wood (32) welcomed their son "a few weeks ago" into the world. In addition, the "Supergirl" star published a snapshot of a tiny baby hand.

The little one is called Huxley Robert Wood. He said he was "everything" for the couple who tied the knot in 2019. The boy's father also posted the photo and wrote, "Our son was born, his name is Huxley, he's amazing and no, it's probably none of your business." So assume that the couple will keep their child out of social media in the future.

Since 2015 Benoist can be seen as the main character Kara Zor-El aka Kara Danvers in "Supergirl". A year later, Wood took on the role of Mon-El. It sparked. In 2017 the two were spotted turtling on the beach for the first time, and the wedding followed in September 2019. It's the second marriage for Benoist. In 2015 she married "Glee" co-star Blake Jenner (28) and divorced a year later.
