The funny ideas in the “40×40” video of Duchess Meghan and Melissa McCarthy came from Harry and Meghan themselves, as the comedian says.

Duchess Meghan (40) has turned her 40th birthday into a campaign for a good cause. The idea behind it: All participants in the “40×40” promotion donate 40 minutes of their time to provide advice and assistance to women who have lost or had to give up their jobs due to the corona pandemic. They should then ask 40 friends to do the same.

Also part of the party was actress and comedian Melissa McCarthy (50), who spoke in an interview with “Access Hollywood” about how the idea came about. “She said, ‘Let’s do it in a fun way, and see if we can get more people together who can help more women get back into work.'” She would have been honored to be part of it.

“I wish it was my idea”

Part of the video is also a cameo of Prince Harry (36) who shows off his juggling skills. “He asked if it was strange if he stood outside and juggled. And I said, so strange that I would look at it five million times.” The scene in which McCarthy asks whether Meghan is planning a “Suits” reunion was her own idea. “I really had to laugh at the Suits reunion,” said McCarthy. “I wish I could say that was mine [Idee] but it was hers. “

McCarthy has only warm words for the entire collaboration: “You are so cute and funny. I find you just very inspiring. You create your own life. You create your life for your children.”
