An action week on the occasion of the “World mental health day” aims to promote mental health. Apps can also help to maintain or regain them.

  • A week of action to mark International Mental Health Day runs until October 20th.
  • You can now find hundreds of health apps in the app stores.
  • Since 2019 you can even have some of them prescribed for you.

The International Mental Health Day (also “World mental health day”) takes place every year in October. Various actors around the world provide information or draw attention to mental health. Others go a step further: to educate people about mental illnesses, the Action Alliance for Mental Health, among other things, is calling for an action week from 10th to 20th October out.

Mental illnesses continue to trigger insecurities. The topic is quite important. According to the German Society for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Psychosomatics and Neurology, around 27.8 percent of the adult population are affected by mental illnesses.

Digital Health Applications
