Mercato LEC: Summit could join Misfits

However author of remarkable performances during the Spring Split of the LCS, Park “Summit” Woo-tae was terminated by Cloud9 in order to rebuild its roster. This departure of the South Korean remains surprising but it allows the player to be able to change teams as he wishes during this transfer window. Logically, in view of his performance, several teams are interested. Among them, we find them in the four corners of the world, in North America, Europe or South Korea.

During a recent stream, the main interested party has revealed wanting to join TSM but unfortunately the transfer was blocked. Probably due to the fact that the North American structure already has two imports, following the possible arrival of Huang “Maple” Yi-Tanget and cannot recruit a new one. He also mentions the fact thathe would like to return to the LCK but “he is not sure that there are places left for him“.

Finally, he ends with the fact thathe would be in talks with Misfits who would think of changing toplaner. Indeed, despite a good Spring Split, notably thanks to Vincent “Vetheo” Berrie, MVP of the Split, the structure could make changes. Given the very disappointing performance of Shin “HiRit” Tae-minit’s understandable that Misfits is looking to replace it and Summit is most certainly among the candidates.

To be seen if the negotiations will go to the end but he would be a definite reinforcement for the team, even if he is one of his players who require a lot of resources. If this were to end, Misfits would therefore have the two Spring Split MVPs in its ranks and could compete with other LEC structures.. What to go to Worlds? We hope for Vetheo who deserves it.
