Mercato LoL: Carter from Misfits to Team Vitality?

New day, new transfer window rumor around the Team Vitality roster on League of Legends. While the arrival of Rekkles on the botlane is still possible, the team has seen many executives leave for several days, and it is now on the arrivals side that we are looking today. According to the latest rumours, Misfits head coach Alexander “Carter” Cartwright could head to the Hive for the 2023 season.

For Carter (formerly Candyfloss), the departure is recorded since his team abandons its place in the LEC. The former GamersOrigin and mousesports coach had a strong 2022 season with Misfits Gaming in the LEC, obtaining a podium in the Spring Split then a 4th place in the playoffs, before finishing 5th in the playoffs of the Summer Split, narrowly missing the qualification for the Worlds 2022. Carter would then replace Mephisto at Vitality, without it being known for the moment the destination of the Frenchman, who has not announced the end of his contract.

Team Vitality will rebuild a new squad for 2023 after a superteam that didn’t shine this season. Perkz should stay on the midlane, and the rest of the roster would build around him for a new LEC project.
