After the five departures announced by DWG KIA a few hours ago, including Nuguri, it is now the botlaner of the structure who is dismissed.

The announcement was more or less expected according to rumors: it’s official, 2022 LCK Regional Finals champion DWG KIA is terminating the contract of his botlaner, Seo “deokdam” Dae-gil. The Korean follows Nuguri, burdol and the members of the coaching staff who were ousted a few hours ago following a season below management’s expectations, including a 4th place at the Summer Split and especially a quarter-final at the Worlds 2022.

Former NS RedForce competitor, the 22-year-old was named the LCK’s top botlaner in the summer of 2021 with his former side. At DWG KIA, which he joined at the start of the 2022 season with his partner Kellinhe had made a flying start by grabbing a podium at the Spring Split, and achieving his all first pentakill on the game.

But the road has been long and obviously ends here. DWG KIA announces his separation in these terms: “he showed a strong performance in 2022 for DWG KIA when we were in trouble and contributed regularly to the team. Please applaud him and DWG KIA wishes him well for the future.”
