Unsurprisingly, G2 Esports has just announced the departure of Jankos after five years of good and loyal service. The Polish jungler would fly to the side of Team Heretics.

Arrived in 2018 within G2 Esports, Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski left its mark on the history of the structure. Indeed, after five years with G2, he won five LEC titles and especially Europe’s first international trophy for many years with the Mid-Season Invitational 2019. Above all, he will have been part of the best roster in European history with G2 2019, passed to a final of the Worlds of first Grand Slam in history of League of Legends.

Unfortunately, after all these years spent with the Samurai, the Pole has to pack his bags. If his presence in the LEC was questioned at some point during the transfer window, Jankos will do well in the European league in 2023. Indeed, he should find the new resident of the LEC, Team Heretics, who bought the slot from Misfits.

If the team is hardly impressive on paper, Jankos’ contribution makes him a serious playoff contender, which will now be with four teams. We hope for him as much success as he had at G2 and especially to win new titles. See you in 2023 to see one of the best junglers in history in Europe with his new team.
